Sales Associate/Land Specialist
Born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina, John Thomas Parker is a dedicated real estate agent specializing in land sales, focusing on timber tracts, recreational land, agricultural properties, hunting lands, and plantation services. John Thomas graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2023 with a degree in Real Estate and Management Entrepreneurship having previously earned his real estate license in 2022.
In August of 2023, he joined Jay Davis and Heather Tickel’s team, where he expanded his expertise into commercial real estate. John Thomas places a high priority on continuous education. He is currently working toward achieving his Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, which will deepen his knowledge in the niche land market. Additionally, he is pursuing the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation to enhance his skills and understanding of commercial real estate.
Outside of the office, John Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He has a passion for traveling across the country with close friends, particularly for duck hunting. John is also actively involved in his community; currently serving as an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, a board member for the Sumter County Gamecock Club and Palmetto Waterfowl Conservation, and a member of the Young Professionals of Sumter and the South Carolina Forestry Association.
